THIRTEENTH WEEK Of My On the-Job-Training
APRIL 25 -APRIL 28, 2023
THIRTEENTH WEEK | First Day to Second day
APRIL 25-APRIL 26, 2023
I was tasked by Sir Ram to create a four-page booklet that will serve as both programme and an invitation for an organization. As a graphic designer, I was specifically assigned to work on the front and back page cover of the booklet.
It was emphasized that the design should appropriately reflect the nature and purpose of the organization to which the booklet pertains. Given the complexity of the task, my co-intern was tasked to do the proofreading while I took charge of the design aspect of the project.
As we progressed with the project, I ensure that the output print would be vibrant and visually appealing. We took the initiative to set up the printer to produce the best quality of print possible. With this in mind, we made sure that we did the printing on both sides of the paper and set it to flip on a short edge since the booklet was on a landscape orientation.
I took my time to meticulously work on the design, taking into account every little detail that would make the booklet visually captivating. My co-intern, on the other hand, made sure to thoroughly check and review the content of the booklet to ensure that everything was correct.
THIRTEENTH WEEK | Third Day to Fourth Day
APRIL 25-APRIL 26, 2023
Throughout the remaining days of the week, our tasks were mainly centered on performing typical office duties. We were primarily tasked with assisting faculty members with their computer-related issues, troubleshooting network connectivity problems, and performing basic printing jobs. We carried out our duties with a sense of responsibility, knowing that our efforts would contribute to the success of the office.
