TWELFTH WEEK Of My On the-Job-Training

APRIL 17 -APRIL 20, 2023

TWELFTH WEEK | First Day to Fifth day

APRIL 17 -APRIL 20, 2023

At the start of the week, I commenced my usual office tasks, which involved providing assistance to faculty members with their computer-related concerns. These issues varied from formatting Excel sheet functions and resolving network connectivity problems to basic printing jobs.

However, during the next three days, we were assigned by Sir Ramon – one of the BUOU faculty – to be Technical Support for a three-day International Webinar on Organization's Resiliency, Inclusivity, and Sustainability towards ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance). Our primary responsibility was to share the screen of the Audio Visual Presentations during the webinar. To fulfill this duty, we were required to report to the office as early as 7:00 am, which served as the call time.

Before the webinar commenced, I played the Bicol University Hymn, the BUEMD Promotional Video, and the BU Station ID while waiting for other participants to join. Additionally, I was tasked with sharing the video for the Opening Prayer and National Item. Besides, we were also responsible for sharing the slides of guest speakers and presenting their Certificate of Appreciation. In addition, I designed the cover for the webinar which is displayed on the screen during lunchtime. Here's the design.

Lastly, we were accountable for monitoring participants and muting them if they caused disruptions with the speaker. Moreover, we were also the ones to permit participants to enter the meeting and kick them if deemed necessary.

In addition to our responsibilities in the international webinar, we were also tasked to assist during the CHED-TPTNEDE Hybrid Monitoring Visit which coincided with the said webinar. Despite the overlapping schedule, we were able to fulfill both responsibilities efficiently. This required us to work overtime and we were not able to leave the office until 8pm.
