FIRST WEEK Of My On the-Job-Training

JAN 30 -FEB 3, 2023



Taken January 30, 2023: First job assigned by Dr. Ramesis M. Lorino - copy the BU Graduate School Handbook (Procedure, Policies and Rules) contents.

        On my first day, Dr. Lorino just had a short introduction on what are the expected jobs and tasks that will be assigned to us. He said that it was mostly computer-related work. He also showed us the office, and workstation and introduced us to his staff.  After the short introduction, he already gave us our first task which is to copy the contents of BU Graduate School Handbook (Procedure, Policies and Rules) to have a soft copy of it. It is for the preparation of possible revision and reprinting. It took us almost 2 days to complete, 1 day (January 30) for typing and 1 day (January 31) for proofreading and editing. We are given our own working station with two computers and a comfortable chair. By the way, we are assigned at BU Open University Office located on the 3rd Floor of BU Library, Daraga, Albay.



Taken January 30 & 31, 2023: Ivan Aldous Villafuerte and John Rey Romano. Our very own work station provided by Dr. Lorino. This is where we all do our assigned computer tasks.


After the BUGS Handbook, (February 1-2) we are assigned to organize, sort and compile the certificates of Mr. Lorino from 1987 to up to the current date. It took us long since this includes his and his office achievements in the past years. Me and Ivan work via Google Spreadsheets for collaboration and for Dr. Lorino to check and monitor our progress realtime. 



Taken February, 1: Sorting  and compilation of Certificates and awards.

The last day of the week (February 3) was organizing and compilation of the Accreditation Certificates, it only took us half a day to finish. In the afternoon we are tasked to help with the preparation for an upcoming office meeting. We set up the computer, smart tv and projectors  that will be used during their weekly office meeting.

  TWELFTH WEEK  Of My On the-Job-Training APRIL 17 -APRIL 20, 2023 TWELFTH WEEK  | First Day to Fifth day APRIL 17 -APRIL 20, 2023      At the start of the week, I commenced my usual office tasks, which involved providing assistance to faculty members with their computer-related concerns.
