THIRTEENTH WEEK  Of My On the-Job-Training APRIL 25 -APRIL 28, 2023 THIRTEENTH WEEK  | First Day to Second day APRIL 25-APRIL 26, 2023      I was tasked by Sir Ram to create a four-page booklet that will serve as both programme and an invitation for an organization. As a graphic designer, I was specifically assigned to work on the front and back page cover of the booklet.      It was emphasized that the design should appropriately reflect the nature and purpose of the organization to which the booklet pertains. Given the complexity of the task, my co-intern was tasked to do the proofreading while I took charge of the design aspect of the project.      As we progressed with the project, I ensure that the output print would be vibrant and visually appealing. We took the initiative to set up the printer to produce the best quality of print possible. With this in mind, we made sure that we did the printing on both sides of the pa...

These issues varied from formatting Excel sheet functions and resolving network connectivity problems to basic printing jobs.     However, d uring the next three days, we were assigned by Sir Ramon – one of the BUOU faculty – to be Technical Support for a three-day International Webinar on Organization's Resiliency, Inclusivity, and Sustainability towards ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance). Our primary responsibility was to share the screen of the Audio Visual Presentations during the webinar. To fulfill this duty, we were required to report to the office as early as 7:00 am, which served as the call time.      Before the webinar commen...

ELEVENTH WEEK  Of My On the-Job-Training APRIL 13 -MARCH 14, 2023 ELEVENTH WEEK  | First Day to Second Day APRIL 13 -MARCH 14, 2023      Following the Holy Week, April 10 was another non-working holiday, which was in observance of "Araw ng Kagitingan" or The Day of Valor. It seemed like there were a lot of holidays in that month.      Also, on April 11, in the late afternoon, the President of Bicol University announced the suspension of classes and office work in response to a memorandum issued by the local government unit due to an approaching storm. This suspension of activities was extended to the following day, April 12.      After the unexpected suspension, we spent April 13 and 14 conducting an inventory of the equipment and stocks in the stock room and archiving room. Our task was to submit an inventory report that included office supplies, computer-related supplies, and other office materials that did not fall into th...

TENTH WEEK  Of My On the-Job-Training APRIL 3 -APRIL 4, 2023 TENTH WEEK  | First Day to Second Day | Holy Week APRIL 3 -APRIL 4, 2023 Reporting in the office during the Holiday (Simeon Ola Day) for Final Rechecking and approval. Here's some previews of the final video output. At the moment, the video has been uploaded to the OU's YouTube channel but it is not visible as it has been set to Unlisted. We do not have permission to disclose it.      Now that the final output had been approved, our next step was to obtain the approval of the Dean through Sir Dan and Sir Rollie. To achieve this, we still needed to report to the office on April 3, which was originally a holiday due to Semion Ola Day.      Fortunately, the checking process went smoothly, and we successfully uploaded the video to Bicol University Open University's YouTube account. However, we are instructed to set the video to "Unlisted" for the time being.      T...

NINTH WEEK  Of My On the-Job-Training MARCH 27 -APRIL 1, 2023 NINTH WEEK  | First Day to FDay MARCH 27 -APRIL 1, 2023      After working on the video editing throughout the weekend, we were set to report to the office the next day for a comprehensive review of our progress. However, upon checking, we found that there was still a significant amount of work left to be done, including the addition of some missing elements and the implementation of various suggestions from faculty members.      Given these developments, we decided to adopt a new strategy for the remaining course of the week, involving morning editing sessions and afternoon reporting sessions at the office for review purposes. We aimed to complete the final review and submission of the video by March 31, as originally planned.      However, as we continued with the video editing, some faculty members noticed additional areas for improvement and suggested further revision...
